Ndutu Safari Lodge

This isolated safari lodge is situated in the heart of the Serengeti. During the migration season there is no better place to spend your evenings winding down after a day spotting Cheetah and countless Wildebeest on the vast plains. The lodge is also sits on the edge of Lake Ndutu, which is surrounded by a small forest in which giraffe, impala and elephants sometimes wander by. It is also an excellent place for bird lovers, with over 400 species stop over, including, bee eaters, storks, plovers, flamingos, and birds of prey.

At night after dinner, many of the guest gather around the outdoor fire pit to stare at the southern cross and share a days tales of their experience in the bush. And in the bar you may see a nightly visitor. The rare Genet, a nocturnal catlike animal that walks the supports of the open area where he munches snacks left by the cook.
